Exhaust Heat Wrap Question

Hello all,

Just wondering if Heat Wrap will help the car at MOT time when they dot the fast idle etc heating the CAT , I've never used it but understand it helps in 2 areas.

1/ Helps the thermal efficiency of the exhaust scavenging capabilities by retaining the heat in the manifold.

2/ Helps lower under bonnet temps
