I have done a search on this problem before and found quite a few people have had or got the same issue with their motors.
I live about 1 mile from the motorway and when i join it first thing in the morning i start to build the speed up to 70ish, the car seems fine but then i can feel a very slight hesitation abit like a misfire then all of a sudden the engine will just die for about 3 or 4 seconds then come back to life, it will do this a couple of times then all will be fine, it is quite intermittent as it dosn't do it every day.
I took it to the Reno dealer to be checked out and they found no faults stored and the road test was fine, what they did say was that they have updated the software on the ecu/injection to the latest version.
Can anyone explain what this update is all about cos i have never heard of "software updates" on cars ,especially from dealers
