Engine cover rattling

when i rev the car with the bonnet up the engine cover is rattling if you push it down at the oil flap it stops any ideas what i could do to resolve this?? (plz don,t say take it off)

Get some decent 3M sticky back pads to help stick the oil flap down. Mine once came off and wedged itself at the back of the engine and melted on the exhaust manifold.
