Engine cover paint

I brought some paint from halfords to spray some blanks the other day and was wondering whether I could spray the engine cover with it aswel. I would of thought I would need some high temp stuff but someone said it would be fine, seein if anyone new on here new?

Normal spray paint from an aerosol will be fine . You don't need high temp paint . When I did mine , i rubbed it down with some fine wet n dry , then primed it with with plastic primer , then gave it a few coats of colour , then lacquer . Just make sure it's smooth , clean and grease free and it'll be fine .
