How do you take the bloody cover off?!

i tried to get it off the other night aswell and it feels like its welded shut lol, i think it just clips/clamps together ?

nah tried for about 2min and gave up as i didn't really need it off at the time, just gave it a quick try (this was while it was still upright aswell and i've got it sat down now so will hopefully be easier)

will give it another bash this weekend

it does come off. pull and pull, get screwdrivers in there and bend (if you're not planning on salvaging it.

A few of the boys down in Aus have done it, and then sat the ecu flat above the (gearbox?) mount - so you can run a 45deg intake pipe off the throttle body

Lol i know what you mean, i couldnt get the Ecu out, so had to losen the 2x10mm bolts just to get the ecu,
