27 Watchers on a buy it now or best offer? Whats the point? Am i missing something?

They want it for next to nothing simples. I watch stuff that's buy it now.

Sometimes bin or best offer items get sent to auction, other times the price is lowered.

I'd suspect it's a wee bit too dear?

Or they are selling something similar and want to see what the item goes for? I know there's other ways, but that is a decent way of finding out how much things go for.

Or are waiting for a similar item to end before, if they dont win that they might bid or buy the one their watching?

Either:

Want it but cant afford

Intent to buy but in a few days

Competition and seeing if it sells and at what price

Multiple watching until a decision is made on the best

Or seeing if an different auction item(s) end lower first

Or as said waiting for the price to drop or go to auction

Offered 150 on a watch i wanted, the fool ignored me and auctioned it at 99p, i won it for 70, all good.

Is that not rediculously cheap for a soilid chrome bumper MG? The guy near me sell finished ones for £7k!

This.... Browse auctions, if nothing looks like it will end at a reasonable price, check back in watch list to find the BIN item from earlier and purchase outright

It's a conversion, was originally a rubber bumper model.
