  RB 182 FF
Hi I have a 100% standard set up at mo, hate the fact speakers fuzzy with bass or have to knock it off.

In after some simple cost efficient upgrades as in u nit got £100's to throw at it, not fussed with subs Amps etc, so what can I do? Speaker upgrade? Any recommendations? Also new headunit? I have no idea regarding ??watts that I need ETc

Cheers all

When I asked caraudiodirect (we also get a 15% discount with them IIRC) this question a few months ago (specifically that I didn't want to fuss with amps, loads of wiring etc it just needed to be simple, effective and worthwhile over OEM) they were adament that if you're new and not too sure the £50 - £100 bracket represents the most improvement per £ over OEM. They recommend either of these two for the fronts & tweeters:

cheap - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-ts-130ci-custom-fit.html
slightly less cheap, but still cheap - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/hertz-dieci-dsk-130.html

Unfortunately I never ended up fitting them BUT I noticed on the box the pioneers did claim to be a direct fit for clios (which I did not have at the time, hence not fitted) and came with some brackets and connectors that claimed to fit those of a clio. I'm sure others who are more into ICE will chip in the current "favourite" low end upgrades, but hey I just thought it might be useful me relaying what caraudiodirect told me when I asked them the same question.
