Due A Service

So cars coming up to its first service in my Hands so fist on the list is oil n filter change, looking at Opie Oils site but unsure what the better brand to go for to be fair

Fuchs Titan Supersyn 5w-40

Motul 8100 X-Cess 5w-40

Mobil SYNT S 5w-40

Castrol Edge TD 5w-40

Not a clue when it comes to Oils so what the better of the list ?

I think the Fuchs and the Motul are meant to be decent.

Silkolene is what I have used in the past and seen recommended on here.

5 lts for my engine ??? cant find it in the service booklet thingy ! ?

Its officially 5.1 litres but ive never been able to get that much in without going over the max line. 5 litres will be fine. Id also recommend the silkolene but any of them will do really its not going to make much difference.

Cheers mate, was just wondering as i got 6lts from Opie in the service pak but was sure as hell i didnt need 6.....

I will say oil filters a c**t on the mk3 specialy if your not got the car jacked up !!

Always used motul in my motorbikes, seems nice stuff!
