DOOR RESPRAY

is it a new door, is it your current door, is it a second hand door, is it the same colour as your car etc

if the paints ok just sand it down and basecoat on top of the laquer, it wont need stripping down.
ide probably give it a wet flat all over with some P800-P1200 just to get rid of any imperfections in the current laquer and give a nice surface to paint onto.
if the paintwork is s**t, then sand it all down with something like P320, feather out all the crap paint so its all smooth, no chips/scratches, fill any dents, finish those with P320 too.
If theres damage ALL over it, and its better to primer the entire door, then ide say get someone with a compressor and spray gun to do it, as doing it with aerosols will just be a waste of money/time/effort.
if there aint much damage, just prime the areas youve filled/broken through laquer/scratches etc and just use some aerosol high build primer.
this can then be sanded down with P800-P1200 wetordry flatting paper.
As for the inside of the door, your gonne need to either get some grey scotchbrite (like a scuffpad) or if you cant get any, use your P320 sandpaper and sand it all down, may take a while.
also make sure you give it a damn good clean, get rid of all the grease and crap by the hinges or you will get reactions. spray primer on wherever youve broke through to bare metal and wetflat that too with P800-P1200.
