dodo lime prime or SRP

keo

  Clio Trophy
I am about to buy some dodo orange crush but just wondered if i should buy some lime prime or keeep to srp? I havent got a machaine polisher and i cant see me buying one so just looking for best results by hand. So is lime prime worth it? Abrassive? Non abrasive?

Thanks

I find there both good for diffirent things, LP Will remove small scratches, Lime prime light has no abbrasives so is good as a final prep just before wax. SRP will fill scratches and swirls.

SRP will fill swirls. Scratches are a completely different matter.

Are you a BWAB?

Seriously.

I'm a BWAB!! Woop!

Both are very similar paint cleanser. LP is more oily, so not an ideal base for sealants, and will fill a touch less than SRP. SRP is probably the better all round product by hand, but LP is epic by Rotary.

As JD says, neither will really deal with scratches by hand, the abrasives are too light.

LOL, I serached for BWAB. Came up with 'born without a brain' so thought it must be wrong?

LOL...I was reading this thinking, mmm I wonder what they mean...I was like, I won't say anything, cause i'll look like a fool :) Lol. But ovbo its a detailers word...!

No it won't. Products will fill marring, not scratches. Scratches will either need correction with decent abrasives or a repaint. End of discussion.

I suppose it depends on people's perception of the term "scratches". But yes I agree

Id get some werkshat prime.

or black fire gloss enhanchin polish.

see polished bliss for both.

the blackfire is filler heavy, so itll hide marring maybe some swirls too...... wershat is a good cleener and lays down a base of sealant.

Or just keep to srp. Its not a bad product really.

f**king Dodo waxes though..............

Not for me thanks. Buy some FK1000p if youre new to this whole game. Durable. Looks pretty decent. Affordable.

Then move onto something more luxurious. Like Zymol carbon. Or Gallys ear wax.

Or just dont self indulge.
