Mine's free, although I've got mine running through an 8Mb internet connection from my main pc and it's sharing it between 2 pc's and a ps2 through a ethernet network hub. All the games I play online are free.

Ive always found it free so yeah, never heard of a game u had to pay for (to play on line) yet....

mine is plugged into my laptop through the network and connected wirelessly through hub.
