Do DCI injectors need coding?

I have replaced all 4 injectors from another car, which is 65BHP version, mine is a 80BHP engine.
Whilst the car runs and drives, with no warning lights, I feel that some pull power that I remember my original car had has diminished. I've been asking around and there are two approaches with regards to whether the injectors need coding or not, some say they don't because it's an old car and others say it does.

Has anyone got experience with this? Obviously I want it to be as quick as I remember it, but I don't know how or where to get the coding done, and what sort of costs I would be looking at.

They do indeed need C2i's coding but I don't think they'll make it drive any better.

Where can I get this done around the West Midlands area and what will the cost be for all 4?
It's the only thing I have to explain the lowish power. I did take the injectors from a 65BHP car but discovered that the same injectors were used across all models so I don't think (and hope not) that it's the injectors themselves

65 injectors aren't as good as the ones used in the 80/100 versions.

This will probably explain your lack of power. I am going the other way and putting 80/100 injectors in my 65.

Well in my research before I started this project I concluded that they were the same because I came across the same part numbers but also came across different part numbers too. It also seems too expensive for Renault to commission work on designing a new output for a more powerful engine when they could potentially get hold of a model of injectors that could be programmed across all 3 variants. This is what lead me towards the injectors needing coding to work at 80bhp level than what ever the base output is.
I might be wrong but it feels in a car like this the work is done in the ecu

Just to also add. I may mix and Match my old 80bhp injectors when I have more time to see if I can simply replace the malfunctioning one than all 4 like I have currently done

I was told that K9K702 and K9K712 injectors are the same.
My 05 1.5 dci 100 had a pump failure last year and took out all 4 injectors. it was murder sorting out part numbers, I went with EJBR01801Z's in the end.
Delphi injectors do need programing in, it should start and run without but better when programed in.

How did you know that the injectors you were replacing your OEM ones with were going to offer the same performance?
How much was the programming? And was there a difference?

Interesting, how do I find out my engine code?
I don't know if the injectors I got correspond with my engine code, if they're programmed in, will that matter?

What clip do you need to do the programming?

If yours is a Mk2 Ph2 80BHP Clio, your engine code is K9K702. So will need these.

Can clip you can get on eBay, but get a full chip version.

But if you don't know how to use one its a waste of money (not the easiest thing to use, and you don't get any instructions) I use mine a lot so paid for its self and more.
A local Renault specialist would be a better idea, and cheaper than a main dealer.
The injectors you have now are too small.
Good luck!

Thanks for the guidance, appreciated.
So if I try and code the existing 65BHP injectors, it won't have the same effect as the ones you've linked to?
I've come across people selling the Delphi software preloaded onto a cheap laptop - do these also do the job? I've seen them being sold for about £150-£200. What can I expect to pay for a reprogramming for injectors if I were to go to a specialist?

You'll never get what you want from the injectors you have now, you need bigger ones.
I don't know if the Delphi software would do it or not? With the clip you put the code in for each injector.
If you give the specialist the injector codes (the 16 digit number around the top of each injector) and which cylinder there in, It's only a half hour job to programme in the ECU.
