The work looks fairly decent for DIY, But photos can hide a lot.

I agree a compressor, A DIY booth and some mixed paint would work a lot better but wheres the fun!

Coming along now, front end nearly finished, but doesn't look like a good finish IMO, but its up to him i guess!!

Front bumper has not been lacquered yet, thats why it looks matt!!

Roof he is going to 3M Carbon vinyl it, along with the boot lid.

I think he said he was wrapping the roof and boot lid in carbon? cant remember though

Nah not driving it, hes got an ek4 as a daily, whilst he gets this car sorted.

Don't know why hes put it on, maybe couldn't' wait to see what it looked like?

On the rear quarter it looks like that, but on the door it looks more like primer. God knows.

He's done it very thin if he has primered it. I'd of used white primer aswell for yellow.

back on topic, surely the amount hes spent on rattle cans and sandpaper is alot by now? to get a perfect finish i bought like 5 cans of paint about 3 cans of laquer and 2 cans of primer just to some colour coding on the front bumper..
