DIY whole car respray..

  BMW M5 & E36
The work looks fairly decent for DIY, But photos can hide a lot.

I agree a compressor, A DIY booth and some mixed paint would work a lot better but wheres the fun!

I agree

EDIT:

Front bumper has not been lacquered yet, thats why it looks matt!!

Doors are going to be the hardest bit!

More progress needed tbh! Why is the bumper on the car now lacquered? Don't tell me he's driving it inbetween stages :(

It'll just ruin the finish :(

Nah not driving it, hes got an ek4 as a daily, whilst he gets this car sorted.

Don't know why hes put it on, maybe couldn't' wait to see what it looked like?

LOL, the ammount of money he'll be spending on rattle cans will end up more than it would to hire a gun, compressor and buy your paint, still epic though

hahaaaaa poverty spec. why should i pay to have some privileges i dont even need?

back on topic, surely the amount hes spent on rattle cans and sandpaper is alot by now? to get a perfect finish i bought like 5 cans of paint about 3 cans of laquer and 2 cans of primer just to some colour coding on the front bumper..
