DIY wheel refurb, OZ content

I've had these knocking about the store room for 6 weeks, as the weather was good today i decided to do a bit of work on them to have them ready for colour.

TBH i'm still undecided on whether to do them in the Graphite Grey or just Gloss White, but to see what they'd look like in the grey i prepped, primered, painted and lacquered 1 wheel. It's just a tidy up job with a change of colour, i've also had the centre bores machined out by an engineering company as they were VW (57mm) fitment

Rubbing/flatting back the lacquer to peel the decals off

Another decision to make, was thinking if i did to maybe fit red or white decals.

I kind of see where you're coming from, maybe if i put white O.Z Racing decals on them they would look better? I'm still undecided on grey or white for wheel colour.

When i took the decals off i did actually think it changed the look of the wheel and lost some of their identity, the flip side i wasn't sure whether the large O.Z stickers would suit the car (especially green stickers)
