Diy Camshaft install

  Clio 172 ph1, others
I was considering ordering a hotter cam for my car and having a go at fitting it.

I've done most jobs, but in fairness not ever fitted a cambelt and camshaft.

I was thinking of ordering the belt and tensioner etc and this locking tool which I can order cheap ish through work; http://www.sealey.co.uk/PLPageBuild...ethod=mProductSearch&productdescription=VS122

Have many people done their own, and how easy is it to do?

As i'd be fitting new cams, how do I time here up?

Thanks

You'll want the genuine Renault cambelt tools.

Depending on the cam you generally set then up standard. But the GT cams aren't and you don't time the 197 cams up on standard mark either.

It is fairly straight forward if you follow the manual, are fairly handy at this sort of thing and take your time.

I can send you the pdf if you don't have it just PM me your e-mail.

could i get a copy of this too please
