Digital dash

I was looking at getting a couple of gauges to monitor oil pressure and temperature but I am not keen on the options for mounting them. Decent gauges aren't exactly cheap either!

With this in mind I am now thinking of going the whole hog and replacing the existing dash with an after market digital item. Hopefully it'll be a neater solution and provide me with a few input options.

We had an AIM MXL on the Westie. Worked fine, and is quite popular.

The linked one I've never used before but no doubt it probably works OK.

Anyone got a solution to an easy install digital dash? I now know the AIM MXL is a no go via CAN bus as it doesn't read the protocol of the 182, you are fine on a 197
Does the dash 2 work or not?
