As above

Just wondering what the fast road or performance clutches are all about

do they improve the performance of your car.. will the clutch pedal be harder??

na u lookin bit higher than that, remap would bump you to 180-182 m8.
decent IK between 2-4, if its not very good IK then u loose power prob lol, exhourst anougher 2-3 so look about 184-189. lol if you cam it, and get the inlet ported and prehaps the head reworked and a decat, id up the clutch, with all them u lookin at a good 20bhp increase. but as you are now, ure clutch is fine, enless its slipping?

Racing clutches grip the flywheel better hence better for high powered engines. The spring that comes with the racing clutch mean you'll have to push harder to disengage the clutch and they bite quite sharply meaning there's no cushioning which isn't great for normal driving. They also wear quite quickly as meant to be serviced like race car engine.

I'd imagine a fast road clutch is a bit between a race and OEM clutch. For me the price would be worth checking and would be the deciding factor for me as you're still running around 180 bhp.

as paul said in more detail, it will bite pretty hard and will not be nice enless you hammering it all the time, in traffic you will prob want to take a sledge hammer to it!
id find someone useing a fast road clutch and find out if they real harsh or not, really depends on how they made, if the springs arnt to stiff and the bite aint to harsh then maybe, but OEM is quite ample to be honest, its tight and not too light.
