I downloaded this but when i try play it, it just says "version does not match the servers"

silly question but did you download it via Steam?

Then its not gonna work. If you downloaded a hacked version you need to play on hacked servers. DOD has to be bought seperately or for those of us who bought HL2 via steam we got it free when we bought HL2 silver edition.

But it is a damn fun game better than CS in my opinion.
