Dash/lights problem really need help guys

I'm screwed as I'm supposed to be off out in the Clio tommorow but the light side lights are playin up.

Started out at dusk to get me some food, still aint eaten!!
Put the side lights on and noticed the left side light wasn't working, however when I put full beam on the light side works then.
The left side brake light doesn't work.

All dash lights are out and the rest of the interior lights minus the curtosy (spell?) light and the light which comes on when you open the door.

The left hand side light fuse keeps blowing straight away.

Anyone got any ideas please help as I'm totally stuck.

the lhs brake light does work I meant the lhs rear light doesn't work.

i'd normally have said that the fuse for the left side sidelights was blown, but that wouldnt explain why the sidelights come on with headlights.

Car out of warranty? may be a problem with the UCH

If I hadn't have already fixed it i'd be crapping myself
UCH, sounds serious what with that face.

I think it's my cars way of telling me not to be a chav, lexus lights ground wire was shorting out.
