Cup rear dampers?

I have a 182 with cup packs and it had new dampers fitted not long before i bought it. My thoughts are though that the previous owner didnt really look after the car.
I was wondering if there is any way to tell the difference between cup dampers and non cup dampers whilst fitted to the car?

Cup damper are stiffer than, non cup damper!!!In front,you can't put non cup damper,because of space hole(60mm)(non cup 54mm).

i think the cup dampers have a yellow and grey sticker on them

I know they are stiffer but i have nothing to compare to! Thanks matt i'll have a peek
