Hi
Does anybody know the difference between the UK (Green) and Euro (red) Ecu's
I need a new ecu for my car and got a red one and was told it would work, it starts and runs but does not rev, borrowed a UK green one and every thing is OK.

So my questions are:

Is there a difference in ECU or is the red one broken?
Can the red ecu be made to run
Was there a difference in ECU spec for the EVO cars.

Id imagine if it does not rev but runs there is some sort of sensor issue, I would compare sensor types between euro and UK cars and also the ECU pin outs to make sure all is the same.

I would if i could but non of the information i have indicates a difference between the euro and uk setup

Can you get the person you borrowed the green ECU off to try the red one in their car? Be the easiest way to tell.
