I've just bought some 2nd hand Eibach Pro springs for the Cup and although im well aware it won't drop the car by much, i've heard that it may even raise the front!
Is this true? Does anyone have any pics of a Cup, before and after on Pro's?
it will lower the front.... its the rears that sit pretty much as they do standard..... They are a good spring and will make the car sit as it should (the back higher than the front) Cups on standard suspension tend to look higher at the front for some reason.......
I had the prolines about a month after i got the car (dec 2004 ) and they were mint! As mentioned they dont really drop the car much, but they are PERFECT for B road thrashings lol.... really soak up the bumps and keep the car settled. I just wanted more of a drop in looks, and got my H&R's at a price you couldnt turn down... I'd even go as far to say that they kept the car more stable than the H&R on the rough stuff
I have to say i haven't heard a bad thing about them which is good as they are just what im looking for. Improved handling and not much drop.
H&R's are my dream suspension mod but god knows i'd have to come into some money to get them!
But then again if you ever decided to sell yours on, as unlikely as it is, i'd bite your arm off!
lol! Mines fine on A roads, it just throws the car about too much on the rough stuff........BUT thats probably as its far too low, when the weather comes good i think i may raise it and just give it a 30mm drop from the standard height..... Think it should make a big difference
