Jacking up the car, jack slipped, underneath car (passenger side) now has a split it in approx 6 inches long running alongside the chassis rail. I've checked inside passenger footwell and removed carpets and thankfully there are no holes or splits only a slight dent which has just pushed back out. So it seems the outer skin is cracked. For now I've sealed it with silicone but wondered if anyone had any other ideas for sealing repairing? Ive also noticed that there looks like there are seams running around this area. Previous repair job? The crack is as if its running along a seam. This isn't a write off is it?!?!?
