crashed last night

  clio 182
so yeah, I crashed last night! I was driving across a local country road and as I have been coming up to a corner braking, a car has been pulling out their drive so I'm braking and went tight left to the curb to miss the car who has pulled out! straight after this the corner turns right, i curbed my wheel badly and managed to snap my lower ball joint!

garage is phoning me tomorrow to let me know the full extent of the damage, but im thinking new wishbones either side is my safest bet, and possibly need a new driveshaft as it popped out so I would get new ones for either side also!

fingers crossed that's all, will update when I know more!

also is anyone selling 1 or 2 speedline turinis? or possibly even a set if cheap enough? would be buying new tires anyway so rubber doesn't matter!

Yeah I don't get what's happened, but unless you want to have your pants pulled down I'd get a specialist to put it back together from mostly used parts.

There's a set of turini's for £250 I saw earlier I'm sure?

Then get yourself a second hand driveshaft off of someone on here, or one of the clio breakers.

Then two new wishbones from Renault Wolverhampton. They come with balljoints iirc.

No more than an hour to fit the three, problem solved.

if you replace the o/s driveshaft I'll buy the old one :)

Doesn't look too bad though, Maybe a new rear arch liner, wishbone and that's it. Check the hub and tie rod aren't bent

  Shit little Yaris...
He's clearly tried to avoid another car coming out on a drive, pulled hard left to not get T-Boned on the O/S, snagged the kerb, yanked out the ball joint and spun it at the bend.

Seems perfectly easy to suss.

I think it's CSI-CS actually lol

CSi-CS would imply its located in CS which is a non existant place (or if it isnt wheres my invite?!?!?)
CSSI means Cliosport scene investigation, which is full of scene investigators looking at clios. which more accurately describes the activity that the CSSI'ers on here love taking part in ;)

The curbing of the wheel came after the car reversing out of its drive.

Having successfully and safely avoided them it's then promptly been binned at the next bend.

Because...?

Would have been braking surely as soon as the car came into view? Car avoided then even after speed has been lost from braking corner is not made.

Do you really think the car in red exists?

Only if I take the first post at face value. Even the rear wheel has been scraped so 100% flat to a kerb.
