Cold start running issues.

Hey Everyone, so my Clio has had this problem for a while and I've just sort of left it because its never really bothered me but I really think its time to sort it.

When the car has been sat for a while (cold start) it will idle perfect but when I set off for a few seconds its almost like its got a limiter, it will just get to a certain point like 2k revs and no matter what I do it wont go over it for a few seconds.

Once it clears its perfect, during the first min or so it will pop and bang aswell.

Injectors seem fine, lamda sensors read ok . Have a decat, fatty induction and ktec exhaust. It uses a bit of oil but nothing I would consider excessive.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a normal 197 when de-catted and modified exhaust to me. Have you ever had it mapped or a rs tuner map?

My bad. Even so, same problem I had on my 182 until I got it mapped.

how did you check lambda?

I would have guessed the lambda sensor when cold. But then after I decatted mine before it was mapped it had those symptoms too.
