Clutch problems

Hey,
Bought a Clio dynamique 2001 a few weeks ago and the clutch is slipping really badly, I'm pretty sure the clutch needs replacing but I just wanna know does anyone have any other ideas other than the clutch being fucked,

why did you buy it surely there was signs of it slipping when or if you test drove it? either way new clutch
