Clutch bearing old vs new...different

  Clio 182 FF
Hi all,

droppped my gearbox today to replace it and the clutch. I have a new Valeo clutch kit and was wondering why the old bearing looks different to the new. There seems to be some difference where the bearing makes contact with the pressure place.

Am i supposed to remove anything off the old bearing and transfer it to the new? May be a stupid question but its like an external housing im referring to.

I popped the cap off to the old bearing, and bearings ran around the inside of it so i assume i dont do anything with it any they must of tweaked the design?

The cars a clio sport 182, cheers
