clio mk1 front shock absorber question



  Golf Mk3 Gti 8v
can someone help? i went to the garage yesturday and they said that the front left shock absorber has gone. they said around £60 done and dusted days work to get it done. i have been driving it for about a month 2 month and it was making this noise haha

well the thing i need help with is the price and the best way to go about getting it done?

it'll take you about an hour to fit it if you were to do it yourself, thats taking into account the possibility you've never changed one before. You'll need spring clamps though.

£60 sounds reasonable fitted though.
 
You'll need to measure the spacing of the 2 bolts on the bottom of the shock. Do this center to centre - it should be either 52mm, 54mm or 58mm.

Once you know that you'll be able to order accordingly.
