Clio 200 conversion

Hi all,

Has anybody put a Megane 250 gearbox and engine into a 200 ? I know the engine has been done but can't find a definite answer on the gearbox.
How easy is it to do ?
Is there a lot of work with the electrics etc ?

But as far as I know you need an r26/225 box as the 250 one won't fit

Straight swap engine wise from what I've read. You need to change over four wires or so on the loom, and a couple on the gearbox for the new 6th position.

Then it's a custom intercooler, pipe work and downpipe.
