CLIO 192 - Fitting an Exhaust Silencer?

Hey,

So I'm completely new to the whole side of modifying cars. I've currently got a Clio 192 as you can see in the images, (not the best photos)

I've been talking to a friend, and basically looking to add a little extra "noise" and was taking a look at adding an exhaust silencer, would this be a good option? Or what would be my best route going forward?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you want more noise then removing boxes is what you want, not adding them.

Take out anything other than the back box, will be noisier then. Get a bit of a flat spot at 2.5k revs though.

Oh, and what is a Clio 192? I assumed you meant 197 but the picture is a 1.1

As above, a silencer does exactly as the name suggests.

What's a 192? Only ones I know of are 138 and 197.
