As a lot of longer serving members will remember back in the day there was an issue with Mot testers incorrectly failing 172 cup models on the load compensator linkage/rod missing, and also little or no effort on the rear brakes the issue was covered in Vosa's matter of testing magazine in April 2006, as things continue to be streamlined with the department for transport on archives this will eventually be no longer viewable and in the future we may be back to the original issue of testers not knowing about this,
