clio 1.2 16v dynamique servicing...

just been looking in my service book, and my car needs serviceing every 18000miles, or 2 years.

i bought it from renault sunwin in derby, and I have been given a 'lifetime' waranty provided i service and MOT the car within the sunwin group every year, it is on an 04 plate, and will need its first MOT in March 07, but this is not at a 2 year interval or 18000miles as it was serviced 4 months ago for the first service, and the car only has 16600 miles on it currently.

from what the salesman said, the car needed to be serviced and MOT'd with them or another sunwin each year, and when this is done i will be given a new certificate which extends my warranty for another year, but does this mean i will need it servicing in march, even though it is not at the correct interval??

also, when it is serviced, if i want to use aftermarket products, ie pads, disks, oil or other parts like that will it be in their policy to fit them if i provide them at my expense on top of the price of the service?

any help would be greatley accepted!

Stock disks and pads are fine no point apart from look to upgrade.

They will fit and knock the price off the price they would have supplied the normal parts for though many people on here supply there own oil at service time.

You need to talk to them regards this warently I'd guess you have to have it done every year regardless. They have to make the money to pay for any warently clima. Then again I'd imgaine your warently isn't going to cover much after a few years beyong stuff which never failes ie cracked driveshafts.

rang them today, i just need to mot it with them and keep to the service intervals, so doesn't need servicing in march, just MOTing.
