Whats the best way to clean my k&n?

tried a search but couldnt find anything

hmm maybe use degreaser and water to clean it, wouldnt know what to recoat it in tho...

buy the cleaning kit

you can use petrol to clean the filter but it might destroy it as im not sure the glue K&N use will stand up to it

for the oil though, it HAS to be the stuff they supply, or it simply wont work properly how it should, if your gonna bodge it dont bother, throw it away, cos without the oil it wont filter properly

Try a good model shop. Cos its the same as what i use to clean and recharge my large scale r/c k&n filters, & its cheaper if i remember rightly.
