checking for possible suspension damage

  Black 182 + Recaros
Haven't been on here for ages, so it's good to be back again.

I've had my 182 full-fat since January and the handling has been spot on.

However, a few weeks back I was pushing hard whilst driving into a roundabout and I hit a massive drain cover that had sunk into the road.

As you can imagine the impact was pretty hard and I immediately knew that something wasnt right with the handling.

I was convinced that the left damper was knackered, but after being checked out by ABP Motorsport (in Crewe) they couldn't find any damage.

Since doing this I have noticed an ocassional squeek whilst turning (at low speeds).

How would I know if something was damaged. I've had the tracking and balancing adjusted, but the handling still doesn't feel as good.

Also, does anyone know what the ideal toe should be for a 182 (with cup pack).

Cheers.

Matthew
