Cheap Filters From Ebay!

Just a quick one

I am after a ND filter and a circular Polarizer for my nikon D90 18-105mm and have seen a few buy a company called hoya but the prices are very different!


There are also some on there but have no name, now my question is.

Is it better to get expencive filters or is a filter a filter?

screw in ones you want to get a multicoated one. hoya are a decent make.

for square ones then cokin, lee or Kood are good enough.

Dont waste your time on cheap-o filters. Get decent multicoated ones as stated above.

I have a cheap UV filter and it shows up green artefacts on the pictures sometimes. Mostly long night exposures, but its not the sort of surprise you want to see when you open your fantastic pics up in photoshop.
