Cheap 172 Cup.

Went to buy a coil pack from a lad over in Newcastle and he has a 172 cupfor £1499!!!

had a Missing Cup Spoiler and the Trim is FF but apart from that i thought it was a cheap Motor for £1500

Cambelt could be due on age, plus a bit to tidy up the wheels (I think at least one was curbed) and a splitter (£120 if you're fussed about genuine) and it's not such a bargain.

I had mine up for £1700 late last year, 72k Full Service, Cambelt, Auxbelt, Depasher & Waterpump and a check over at Birchdown, Decent service history and paperwork. Was also in better nick than that one.

Not one person interested in it. It needed a wheel refurb and some rear discs & Pads thats was it. I ended up doing a swap with a forum member.

Early this year the market for Cups has picked up a little, i could of sold mine for £2000 by going off some of the ads ive seen lately.

​Thats the clincher.... I bought mine in the knowledge that would have to be done. GOt it for less than a thousand!!

I agree it's still cheap , belts can be done on a cup for under 400
