Changing thermostat

I need to change the thermostat on my 182. found out where it is but im unsure if i have to drain and change the coolant? or is it possible to just whip the bolts out and swap them over?
Any help would be ace.

whip the bolts out, change it, top up the header tank, bleed it, done

how much are these as my temp is playin up too ! warms up then cools down when i drive ???

Thats good didnt fancy changing the whole lot. What do i top it up with water or coolant? Also where are the bleeder valves?

Thermostat costs 18quid from renault, not to bad i thought!
