clio 2003
Hi From Mexico,
I just changed the front struts on my clio 2003, which you know in South America they are identic to Nissan Platina,
The only strange thing i see is that the old strut piston( Monroe) is longer than the new one (boge) both are the recommended part by manufacturer but when i assembled the new one, the top nut or cover plate that holds the piston on the top against the body of the car, is not sitting as it was with old strut, not sure why, if strut is shorter shouldn´t sit better? i have a photograph to show the problem if any member knwo why is this happending please provide an email and i will submit.
Tanks
