Changing form 16 to 15, best tyre size?

Ive currently got the standard 182 16 wheels on and have got a set of 15 O.Z f1s to go on but am not sure what size tyres id be best putting on?

Dont really want a low profile tyre, cos then wheels will look lost in the arches, was thinkinh either:
195/50 or 185/50

205/50 OR 195/50 would be best imo

I take it you have lowered the car?? 15" look a bit rubbish without a drop

I have lowered the car on coilovers. Seen some 15 wheels that just look odd, prefer fatter tyre, if that makes sence:S

yea, I think 50 would be better if its lowered 40mm or more

Both are fine. In theory 195's will give you very slightly better handling and 205's slightly more grip. In real life you wont notice any difference. It's been mentioned many times on CS that the 195's are somewhat cheaper to buy and many go with this.

is there any problems with going to 15"? eg clearance issues etc?
is there any advantage or is it purely looks/cost??

its just iv got a brand new set of 15" alloys with tyres but havnt fitted them in case causing damage to the gearbox??

There is a performance advantage to switvhing to 15's. Plus you get cheaper tyres and a better selectionof performance / track day tyres.

They'll do no damage whatsoever. Get them on.
