+1 just do it yourself mate, its so easy and you'll save yourself a fortune!

I dont think i'd trust a halfords employee anywhere near my car anyways tbh, they haven't got a clue what they're doing. I went in one day to ask for advice from a friend of a friend that worked in there when i was fitting mine and after 5 mins of him faffing about in my car it was clear i had a much better idea of what i was doing than he did (and i was completely clueless!) lol.

Cant help you there bud, i'm sure someone on here will know. Is it the standard unit?

Sounds like a perfect excuse for a new head unit to me tho lol.

Not worth paying halfords to fit one.
Hardest part is getting all the wires out the way at the back.

my brother has had the same problem with his. clicking noise, cd getting stuck then working again. i think its just a poor quality player. BUT do not let any1 in halfrauds near your car (YOU WILL HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS IF THEY DO)
best bet is buy a aftermarket player and fit it your self.. easy peasy...
