Carrying heavy stuff safely - wheels, trolley jack, etc

If the weather is looking a bit mixed I'm going to be taking a spare set of wheels and a trolley jack to trackdays with me.

Thing is, the rear of the car is stripped, so how do I carry them safely and securely? I imagine a cargo net using the existing fixing points is the way to go but presumably I need a pretty damn heavy duty one to be able to retain four wheels and a jack in the event of a crash, what do you guys do?

Am I just being a pussy? ;)

Take a mate and put it all in their car lol I share the car with my dad so if we don't trailer it I drive and just throw everything in his van. Told him he can be the crew chief lol although I have driven home with a spare set of wheels in the boot but they're behind my half roll cage with a X bar.
