Carbon bonnet Vs standard bonnet

  BG V6, LY 182
I cannot for the life of me decide.
Iv almost had the tools out on numerous occasions to change it over.

How it sits at the moment, the bonnet sticker has gone though!

Or back with the standard bonnet and sell the carbon fibre one.

Oh and I'm going to get quotes for putting back to silver wheels and pods too.

Standard one imo, as the car's so dark you can't really tell the current one is CF!

It looks stealth as fook at the min, but then I like them standard too :S

Welcome to my life lol
Iv got a contact for a guy who will make me some pods not far from where I live, so I can have 2 sets. And knowing me, I'll get another set of wheels so I can change them when I want too! :( ha

I like the all black look too. But to be fair you would still get that with the standard one.
Standard bonnet would get my vote, as I don't like loads of carbon, a little is enough IMO, over kill FLT

Right tools are coming out tomorrow! Standard is going back on. I'll leave it a week, make sure I prefer it, then carbon fibre bonnet will be for sale! And it will fund my wheel and pod colouring!

But what's a carbon bonnet worth these days??

Its not just a clear cut whats it worth there are many factors to consider
Is it a standard bonnet skinned in carbon or a proper carbon bonnet?
any yellowing of the resin?
How stiff is it? just a couple of plies requiring bonnet pins/catches or is it structural and uses the standard catch?
Quality of the layup, how straight is the weave?

Oh bloody hell ha
its a proper carbon bonnet.
No yellowing that I can see.
Uses the standard catch.
as for the weave I'd have to take it off and have a good look at it.

Im just after a round figure of value for now?
once it's off I'll chuck a couple of pics up.

I work with the stuff day in day out, so I'm pretty picky with what I like and don't lol
Personally I wouldnt want any less than £500 for it considering a new one utilising the catches from streamline is £1000+
