Car stalled in 1st idling, now refuses to start.

Hi guys,


Track day with about 10 very easy laps, car not being pushed very hard. My friend was driving, and the car just stalled in 1st gear idling in the pitlane. It turns over, but never fires. It was recently serviced. We checked for fault codes, but there were none. Tried starting it half a dozen times at various points afterwards. It did fire briefly after we dropped it at Renault, which makes me think it's not electrical (not coilpack, spark or TDC), but perhaps fuel related. Perhaps the fuel swirled into the injector hoses somehow when it was moving around on the flatbed.


Fuel pump? TDC sensor?

When you turn the ignition on can you hear the fuel pump priming?

If no, then check the 3 identical relays in the engine bay (located in the fuse housing to the right of the battery), one of them is your fuel relay. Swap them around and see if this helps.

Also check your fuses in the same area as well as in the fuse holder in the side of the dash.
