Car sometimes won't start!

Can anyone help with some advice or anything really lol.

Sometimes when I try to start my car it just keeps turning over. Then if I lock it, it beeps 4 times at me, then takes numerous attempts for the car to start.
I have also noticed when locking the car and walking away it sometimes beeps.

Anyone? Its getting annoying/embarrassing now!

Generally beeps are when the door/bonnet/boot is ajar, as for starting id imagine it could be an immobiliser issue if you need to blip it open/close which in turn would turn immobiliser on/off. I'd check all doors first and pop bonnet/ boot and slam shut, then if still a fault diagnostics should pinpoint it

My car has just decided to do this also. I went out in it earlier was in Tesco 15 mins came out and car started fine then came out 3 hours later to go out turned key nothing turned key again and it turned over 3-4 times but didnt start, just noticed if I put key in and turn straight away it attempts to start if I put key in wait for all lights to go off and turns nothing happens. Very strange I'm thinking immobiliser issue as if it was starter motor I wouldn't get the random trying then not trying any help is welcome as I start new job next week and need my car running ASAP
