I have a 1.8 16V Valver ECU that i need testing, in short i have unsoldered the ROM chip, soldered a socket in place and pushed the original ROM that i removed back into the socket.
What i was hoping is that someone local to me could test my ECU on their car, unplug theirs, plug mine in and take it for a spin. if it runs fine it will confirm that my soldering is good and i can start to write my own chip!
Could anyone help me out?
