Can i use my g220 after sanding?

I read a thread earlier on DW about wet sanding (fixing stone chips) and some people used a porter cable and said it was fine to use? There were even recommendations of polishing it out by hand? I recall watching a megiuars clip on youtube where the demonstrator used the american version of the g220 (g100?) and although it looked ok in certain light, in harsh light there was some huge marks left behind.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Im planning on taking out my stone chips and would like to know if the g220 is up to the job of removing the sanding marks and leaving a nice finish.

Should be fine to remove wet sanding marks.

No problem at all, in fact the G220 is faster than the Porta Cable, UDM, Megs G100 (no longer made) and the G110.
