Can anyone recommend an R8 Specialist in the South-West?

  Megane 250
Hi,

Can any of you recommend a specialist for an Audi R8 in the South-West, the car has clutch issues (manual V8). Car is located in Cornwall.

Thank you in advance!

Probably not the best place to ask tbh, its not as if 99% of the users can afford to own an R8 :(

My boss took his to about 3 Audi dealers. All of them were clowns, ended up sorting it himself.

Same as Renault I guess.

Cheers for the replies. I asked as I know most on here would recommend a specialist over Renault for the Clios.

Not just the service history either with these cars. If you don't use oem tyres any suspension and steering part failures won't be covered under warranty.

Got a friend who works at one locally to me, i'm sure a few of the techs went away to Germany for something to do with the R8. I'll ask if you want?

Lamest "I've got an R8" thread ever. LOL!!!! I always assumed if you had the money to buy an R8 you would want it looked after by Audi sod the cost.

Sadly, having worked on luxury yachts, they piss all their money away buying it, and then realise they haven't a hope of paying the running costs.

Not my R8, a friends. They have had no issues with car in the past, just the usual serviceable items. So never having any extensive work carried out before they thought they'd see what specialist options are available down here, as well as the Audi Dealers. Costs not the issue, they just want the job done properly and the car treated with respect. I suggested I'd ask on here as a lot of you on here love your cars and are very knowledgable which is appreciated. Ill feedback to them the suggestion to use Audi as they should be perfectly capable and it keeps the service history with Audi.

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
I'd personally travel to find a decent specialist. MRC in Banbury are one of the best in the country.

I'd say MRC or TTS. You'll need someone with experience of them and the right equipment to sort out the electronic clutch actuation
