Cambelt Snapped

I have a 1994 Clio RT 1.4, basics is my cambelt snapped, i was woundering wether i could get away with doing just a head unit change and pistons?

Prob be cheaper to just replace the whole engine tbh.

Nah bet all it'l need is a few valves and a new belt. 1.4's are easy enough to work on so id repair it, all the parts from a motor factor probably wouldnt top £100

You can get a valver engine for £50-£80

Valver is a clio with a 1.8 16V engine.

Right i see.. well i dont want one of them lol

so if i just got replacement valves and a good quality timing belt then i should get away with just that, without a replacement head unit and pistons?

need to check get the head off and look for damage they will decide what you need to do.
