Buying a 182, lack of history and a noisy pulley

Looking at getting a 182 for a summer blast
I have found one and I'm looking at it tomorrow but he claims it has a noisey fanbelt pulley.
There is no record of a cambelt change and i've heard about a bottom pulley that mega bucks

Can anyone shed any light and costs on a cambelt change

Circa £500 from a specialist for an Aux belt kit and cambelt kit fitted mate.

Prob needs a dephaser as well, which is another £150. Budget £600-£650 to get the lot done. BTM probably your closest if near Wrexham.

If the price is right it could be a good but, assume he means aux belt tensioner as often people save money and only do half a job and don't change these. Birchdown or btm are just two of the well known specialists in your area. If it ticks loudly may need dephaser as well. £500ish gets all the belts and pulleys done so if that's all it needs maybe a good buy.
