I'm more a renault fan than a ford fan btw. I only have the ST as it was cheap...

I get you and not saying they won't be worth that in ten years. But £50k now when 2/3 years ago they were £15k is a case of someone smoking crack IMO

Yeah, I'm not justifying 50k, in fact I think some may be using a predicted future value as a reason for an increased value now... Kinda like, this car will be worth 50k in 5 years, so it's worth 50k now.

But we shall see, like you, I'd never spend 50k on a Clio v6, but that's because I would buy a V8V or an R8 or a GTR and I wouldn't have the money to buy something else, but if you're incredibly wealthy then I guess it's just another car for the collection.

What I was getting at is you can't de-value it just because it's a two seater Renault... But yet many (not you specifically) see an old Ford such as an RS200 as worth every penny just because it's a Fast Ford, not a Renault.

The 205 T16 is just a two seater Peugeot, but they're selling for well over 100k.

Not sure a V6 is worth 50k at this moment in time, but mint PH2's in good colours will be worth well over 50k in 10 years.
Time will tell.

Probably more Jag E types currently on the market than there are V6 Clio`s,possibly more than V6 production.

It's all a bubble and it will burst eventually, its happened before and it will happen again.
